Are we a pro-life people? My experience, even among the faithful Catholics at Mass, has been - "Very rarely."
When you hear of vasectomies openly at Knights of Columbus picnics, when people in Mass ask you if these are all your children, when faithful Catholics ask you, "Are you going to have more?", when people spend more money and effort on altar flowers than welcoming and helping with new children in large families at the parish, when even the catholic schools don't give a tuition break to large families, when no one is there to shelter or bolster you against a corporate world that questions your ability to make good business decisions because you have so many children, then no, we aren't very pro-life, are we.
